75. Hand Re-reeling

The skein formed in the silk reeking contains relatively much moisture, the main aim of the re-reeling is to properly dry the skein, at the same time to retain the elasticity, strength and elongation rate, and to make the skeins into hanks of certain specifications to be baled and boxed for convenient transport and storage. This shows how it was done by hand before the machines were developed.
