80. Slant Weaving Loom

The Slant Weaving machine was so named because the rear frame of the loom was leaning, and the warp side formed a dip angle with the leveled loom base. While the weaver was working, she could clearly see if the warp side was neat, and if any warp was broken after shedding. At the same time, those two pedaling rods would separately drive the two layers of warp to go up and down in turn, namely, the primitive hand shedding had been replaces by the pedaling shedding. Hand- and-foot operation had promoted weaving efficiency. The Slant Weaving Loom became the predecessor of the Ever Texture Weaving Loom. Another view of the Slant Weaving Loom.
