19. Chain Bridge at the Dujiangyan Dam

This is part of the irrigation system built some 1,700 years ago. It irrigates many thousands of acres of Sichuan Province. It is an engineering marvel especially for its age. Dujiangyan Dam, built 2250 years ago, is the oldest water conservation project and still functioning irrigation scheme in the world.
