The City of Kaifeng, Henan, China 2. Kaifeng Museum The Museum has a collection of over 20,000 items, of which 23 items belong to Class One Collection. Most of the 1,000 items of stone carving are the epitaphs from the Northern Wei (386-534) to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The Epitaph of Yuan Huai from the Northern Wei has a touch of Lishu (official script, an ancient style of calligraphy current in the Han Dynasty) with graceful handwriting; the Epitaph of Quan Nansheng from the Song Dynasty is the handwriting of Ouyang Tong, one of the few original handwritings left by Ouyang Tong; and the Epitaph of Wang Shanggong was written by Sima Guang.
