29. Spur Gate

This shows what lies on the other side of the ridge spur of the Wall. A watchtower can be seen at the end of the spur. In the days of danger in the past no trees or vegetation was allowed to grow near the wall. This is a slight dead-end offshoot path of the wall that leads to a separate tower.
