2. Wen Shu Temple

The monks still live in and maintain this Wen Shu Temple on Yao Shan. They also play music for your enjoyment. The trees there are said to be 3,000 years old and they look it. The temple is in good condition and has been recently restored with new paint. Near this temple was an old mountain hideout office of Marshal Lin Bao. We visited it but they said it was still a military post and only military people could go in.
