Transportation in China in 1988 Airport - 19 The Xinzheng-Zhengzhou airport is one of the largest and most the modern airport in China. Completed in 1998 it boasts of direct flights to 27 cities in China. There are six flights a day to Beijing and three a day to Shanghai. It is an all-weather airport with modern loading ramps for the protection of its passengers. Located on the 107 National Highway halfway between Xinzheng and Zhengzhou it has convenient access to both cities. Foreigners must have their passport and be sure to pay your Airport tax and have the receipt handy.
