I can see Bernice's blue tartan bag in the photo. That is her bunk and mine is opposite hers. We were very fortunate that our friend had secured six lower bunks set aside for us when we had arrived at the train station. Shoes and other things we put under our bunk. Valuables, purses and cameras we keep on the bunk as we sleep. The train car was quiet except for the track noise.
