Huizhou, historically known as Waichow, is a city located in central Guangdong province of the People's Republic of China. By the influence of subtropical monsoon climate, the rainfall in Huizhou is abundant around the whole year whereas it is not in a good balance. The rainfall in western area is much more than eastern areas and in summer is more than in winter. The sunshine is plentiful with strong radiation. It is warm in the whole year basically without frost. The yearly average rainfall is 2,000 mm and temperature of 22 ºC. It is rainy from June to August and therefore the best time to travel in Huizhou is between September and October.
