Jingmi Private Middle School 2004 7. One of Jingmi's Classes After the talk with the Chinese teachers they moved us to a class in session to talk to some students. Both of us enjoy the opportunity to talk with Chinese students; they are so polite and attentive. Bernice appreciates that I take on the responsibility of the talk but give her a chance to speak as well. After a short speech we asked if they had any questions, and they did indeed. The Chinese English teachers crowded in the back of the room to listen. One asked about how I felt about the NBA. I replied that while they play good basketball they do not seem to be good role models for students. Others wanted to know how American schools differ from Chinese schools. ⇦ Back to Page 6 On to Page 8 ⇨Return to 2004 Jingmi School - Page 1 |
