4. Shantai School Assembly

It is time for Larry and I to give speeches to the students. We try to encourage them to study hard. The rural community is so much poorer than the urban population and the schools suffer. Teachers often do not want to go to the countryside to teach because of the poverty and low wages. The average rural family makes 1/5 of what an individual makes in the city.
