1. Gates for Traffic

In 2008 we spent a week in Xi'an before connecting with the Travel Quest tour to Xinjiang to view an eclipse of the Sun. One place we spent time was on the Xi'an City Wall. We took pictures during the day and at night. Here you can see some of the cuts they have made in the wall for modern day times to allow the traffic to proceed.
