3. Department Store in Zhengzhou

Department Store

Across the street from our SIAS City College lies an underground Department Store. We took this picture of the front entrance to the store. When we tried to take pictures on the inside to show you about what you might be able to buy and some prices of things a security guard escorted us out of the store. When I asked why later they told me they didn't want to reveal how they did business to let others know their secrets. Ah well. You could buy most everything you could get in the USA but a lot cheaper. Groceries, cosmetics, household supplies, cleaners, brooms, small and large appliances and many other items can be purchased. Our school building can just be seen on the upper left.
