Shades of Pink in Hex for Web Pages

PINK is formed by a combination of RED, GREEN and BLUE. PINK, number 10, has a allotment of 100% of RED, 75% of GREEN and 80% of BLUE. Images 1 one through 10 maintain that relationship with smaller amounts. For example, number 6, has its RED at 50%, its GREEN at 37%, and its BLUE at 40%. That is the same ratio as number 10 but half the quantity of each color.

The first two numbers are the units in the base 16 (hexadecimal) of the color RED. The next two numbers are the units in the base 16 (hexadecimal) of the color GREEN. The last two numbers are the units in the base 16 (hexadecimal) of the color BLUE. In hexadecimal FF is the highest number 255 used for colors in Web Hex numbers.

To make the PINK lighter, starting at number 11, we increase the amount of GREEN and BLUE gradually and evenly but maintaining the same ratio until they both approach shades of PINK web colors and their allotment of the three colors RED, GREEN and BLUE
