Shades of Red in Hex for Web Pages

The images of the grades below show how the shade changes as the RED color is increased by 8 units for each progression of the grade. Both GREEN and BLUE have zero units for that color for each progression. Number 30 then has the maximum FF (255) of RED and no GREEN or BLUE.

The first two numbers are the units in the base 16 (hexadecimal) of the color RED. The next two numbers are the units in the base 16 (hexadecimal) of the color GREEN. The last two numbers are the units in the base 16 (hexadecimal) of the color BLUE. In hexadecimal FF is the highest number 255 used for colors in Web Hex numbers.

Beginning at number 31 we begin showing how you make the RED lighter. We do it by progressively adding equal amounts of GREEN and BLUE. We have added 23 additional amounts of GREEN and BLUE in each of the following numbers until the shade will eventually turn to white.
