Business, 1977-2004:
My wife and I ran our own company, training programmers how to design and code COBOL Programs. We have trained over 8,000 programmers how to use better methods of programming and design.
Outside Activities: I have been an instructor at many Universities and Companies in the United States, Canada, England, and China. I have taught classes at the University of California, Notre Dame, Golden Gate University and others. I have written and had published 13 books in the areas of computers. Many of these books have been adopted by the IBM Company and sold by IBM to their clients. I have written and had published 3 books for use in teaching Oral English to 1st through 12th grades, Chinese University students and Chinese scientists. For 18 years I taught programming to severely handicapped students for the Center of Independent Living in Berkeley, California.
1973-2004 I am a licensed Pilot and owned my own plane. I have flown our plane to over 40 countries throughout the world.
1984-5 and 1987-8 I taught in China for two years at the Chengdu Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to Chinese Scientists. Courses include computers, Oral English and Culture Lectures.
1998-1999 I Served as Vice President and Board Member of SIAS University of Business and Management in Xinzheng, China.
2004 Served as Vice President starting SIAS City College in Zhengzhou, Henan, China.
Personal: Born in Seattle, Washington in 1931. I am in good health, married and have two sons, 50, and 53.
