Most of our machine guns were air-cooled 50 caliber. This one had a limited field of fire due to the bunker in the rear, which was mainly constructed of stacked stones. Part of the standard TO & E of a relay site is a gun like this. We would occasionally fire it for the practice. It is a noisy gun to fire. Everyone should have a chance to fire a piece like this. At the Jade Relay site in North Korea we used to practice on flights of ducks and geese. Never hit one, though.
