Loading up for Wonson Invasion Noll with the 581st Signal Radio Relay Company at Wonson
1. Loading up for Wonson Invasion

July, August and September were spent in the Inchon, Souel area. In October most everybody began to move to the Inchon area. In my outfit the truck drivers went aboard freighters and the others boarded troopships. My truck got loaded about an LCVP and we motored out to a freighter. Sailing on a freighter beats sailing on a troopship. I waited in a line for 3 days for my turn on the LCVP's. Now and then someone would show up with some C Rations for us to eat. We slept in our trucks. Here some LST's get loaded with men and equipment.
