581st Signal Relay Troops Arrive in Korea

1. Pusan, South Korea

This is the harbor at Pusan where most all ground troops first entered Korea; the exception would be those who participated in amphibious landings. Our group arrived in early morning and were given a breakfast of the infamous SOS. After our meal we were taken to a nearby mountain and introduced to the country by a long steep climb to the top. I think this was SOP for new arrivals.
