6. Hill 775 Kitchen You can see part of the camp layout on Hill 775. The kitchen and dining room are shown in this picture. You can see the valley below. By this time food had changed to "Class B Rations." That means you get food you can cook. Not any fresh food but canned food. You get some vegetables such a potatoes and reconstituted milk. That is milk that has been powered and sent overseas. It is daily mixed by machine so it goes back into solution with the butterfat included and packaged in cartons like done in your supermarket. Hi-Res Pic (117K) Each day someone goes down to get what the menu of the day determines what you should have. Real eggs are also available and frozen streaks and hamburger. You also get assigned a cook, which is nice. You don't have to spend so much time fixing your own food.
