I am a SSG in the Army. I just came up on assignment to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. I am being assigned to 581st Signal Company. I tried to do some research on the Unit and couldn't find anything from the present. Only found information from Korean War and Vietnam. Looks like the unit is being reactivated for the current war. I have viewed your web page and looked at the pictures and campaign of the Unit. It is going to be an honor to serve in the 581st and carry on a tradition. I just wanted to send you both a message to share a little bit with you. I currently do satellite communications and I am sure stems from a long ways from where you both left off. None the less, I am sure the unit will do great. Thank you so much for your service and I hope to do the same for the 581st as you both did.
