581st Tacoma Site 10 Patch
I had this patch made up for all the old veterans from the Signal Corps and the
Vagabond. Those unsung heroes labored up and down those isolated mountain tops
of Hill 1157, Hill 775, Hill 610, Taejon, "Piggy", Koto-ri,
Hagaru, Beason/Richmond, 581st Tacoma Site and many other long-forgotten
isolated mountain tops in Korea. They sometimes walked, other times drove on
paths passing for roads across rivers and streams to keep the communications
reliably working. God bless them one and all. These young men labored in
obscurity and had no attention until the communications failed. Then all Hell
broke loose.
