5. Harry Shively at "Piggy San" Relay

This was the end of a long hot day. After weeks without a good bath Joe LaPera and myself decided to look for a place to get cleaned up. We took the long hike to the village, got in our 3/4-ton truck and went looking. After many miles and many hills we came to a village that had sunken baths inside a house. We spent some enjoyable time soaking off the grime of many days. The cost of the bath was only a few cents, but would have been a bargain at any price. After putting on clean clothes and finding our way back to the base camp village, we started the long, hot, dusty climb up the mountain. By the time we got to the top we were wet with sweat and covered with dust from the road and trail.
