Hi Paul
We had it a little better than you in 51 but a lot worse than people after us. Our water supply was from a spring. We hardly ever got paid on time. I had to buy jeep parts on black market for my jeep engines running 24-7. Our rations were mostly dropped off by helicopter. Many bones and ammo all around and the winter was rough. We had one 50 caliber and 30 caliber carbines. I will send more as I think of it.

Len, I don't remember ever getting paid, but there was nothing to buy. We disposed of a lot of ammo and shells. No helios for us. No Roads; We walked for first four months. Rarely saw mail.
