As you recall all the bridges in Seoul were bombed out and we had the army "Bailey Bridges" in place with one way traffic, well one night I'm headed south with other guys from the City Seoul and one of the guys want to drive I let him and get in the back of the 2 1/2 with the guys, we are having a good time laughing and joking, when the truck slows down and we feel it is climbing over something, I look and the driver had come to the barricades and decided to drive around them I managed to get his attention in time to stop us from a 75-foot drop into the Hahn River.
