70. The Blown Penstocks make a Gap in the Road

Here you can see the blown penstocks after the Chinese forces had destroyed them. Engineers would bridge the gap with Treadway bridge sections flown in and dropped by giant parachutes. One section fell through ice and was lost but extra sections insured the completion of the bridge.
