10. General Deng Hua Background and History Born in 1910 in Hunan Province and died in 1980. Activities in Korean War General Deng Hua was the Deputy Commander of the CPVF-NKPA Headquarters. CPVF is the Chinese Peoples' Volunteer Forces. NKPA is the North Korean People's Army. Later he became its acting commander and political commissar. By the end of the war Deng became the de facto commander and political commissar. After the Korean War Deng Hua served as the Commander of the Shenyang Military Region until 1959. Deng Hua died in 1980. |
