This is a Japanese 50 Sen Note. When you consider that the exchange rate in 1950 was 360 Yen to a U.S. Dollar, it would take 720 of these to make a dollar. There is a 100 Sen to make a Yen. There also were many 5 and 10 Sen notes around. It would take 3,600 10 Sen notes to make a single U.S. Dollar. and 7,200 5 Sen note to make a dollar. No wonder the Japanese called these bills "Benjo Kami," or toilet paper. I bought a great quantity of these bills just for the souvenirs. The picture is Mount Fuji.
