Birds Observed at Our Pleasant Hill, Oregon Home
Location in Oregon
Cassin's Finch Carpodacus cassinii -- Fairly common in western conifers. The sharp musical chip of the Cassin's Finch, often given in flight is distinctive. Song is a long, loud, rich varied warbling. A flock of four of these small birds stopped by for some seeds during our lunch on the deck. Click for a Photo of our Bird (Male) (Female) |
