Golden-crowned Sparrow Zonotrichia aticapilla - Fairly common, breeding at high elevations near timberline and at openings in stunted spruce forests. Golden-crowned is best told by the crown pattern and dusky bill. Song consists of 3-5 clear whistles, descending scale. |
