Blue is Winter range - Red is Summer range
Purple is Year-round range - Yellow is Migration range

Aphelocoma californica - This fellow visits often. The Western Scrub-Jay is common in scrub oaks, where it skillfully remains out of sight. Flights are short, ending with a sweeping glide. He is not a bully like the other fellow. We have many oaks on our eleven acres.
