Common Tern

Sterna hirundo - Common vagrant along coast from late April to early June (especially early to mid-May) and from late July and October; very rare spring migrant and uncommon fall migrant inland. Voice high-pitched, drawn-out keee-are given mostly at the colony but also during foraging.
