Location in Oregon
Gray Catbird Dumetella carolinensis - Common near dense cover. No other bird is plain dark-gray with rusty undertail covert. Note the distinct black cap. Gray Catbird, named for its mewing call, often flicks its long tail. Song is of squeaky quality, with little or no repetition; it is a poor imitator. |
