Cattle Egret Bubulus ibis - An Old World species recently naturalized in North America; common and spreading. Seen in flocks in pastures, feeding on insects. The yellow or orange bill and the neck are shorter and thicker than in other herons. Short legs are yellowish to pinkish in adults.
