Birds Likely to be Observed in Oregon
Location in Oregon
Rufous Hummingbird Selasphoprus rufus - Abundant migrant through western U.S. These little fellows feed daily at our hummingbird feeder. Their display flight is frequent. Many times there are 8 to 10 of these fellows feeding or waiting turns to feed. I sometimes sit a few feet away to watch them eat. We enjoy their visits. They seem to dislike the Black-chinned Humming birds that share the feeder. |
