Northern Pintail Anas bahamensis - Abundant in West, common in East. Found on lakes, ponds, and bays, where it is seen in large flocks except in the breeding season. Pintails are slim and very agile, with slender pointed wings. The speculum is metallic brown with a white rear border. Call is a short whistle. |
