Carduelis pinus - Irregularly common in large flocks, especially in conifers. Amount of yellow at the base of the tail and the wings varies greatly. Note the heavily streaked underparts, deeply notched tail, and slender sharp bill. Tame. Wheezy voice is diagnostic.
