Juniper Titmouse Baeolophus griseus -- - This is the common plain gray titmouse of the West. It is told from all other chickadees by its white throat. Prefers pinyon-junipers. The Juniper Titmouse repeats a whistled 2-note song, accented on the first note. Unlike other titmice, its call is a tschick-a-dee call that sounds much more like the call of a chickadee than that of a titmouse. |
