Palm Warbler Dendroica palmarum - Rare to uncommon fall migrant and rare in winter and spring along the coast; vagrant to inland western Oregon and east of the Cascades. Bright yellow undertail coverts, bright olive rump, and tail-wagging habit identify this ground feeding warbler. The rusty cap should be looked for in the spring. Song is a rapid, slightly buzzy, trill. |
