Soaring Seabirds in Bird Flight
Although all birds have feathers and all birds have wings, all birds do not
fly. Flightless birds, like penguins and ostriches, use their wings to move in
a different way then flying birds. Penguins are adept at using their wings to
"fly" under water at high speeds. An ostrich uses its wings to increase its
speed when running with the wind by lifting its wings as if they were sails.
