Freezing Pumpkin Recipe
Select ripe pumpkins indicated by good color and stem that breaks loose easily.
Wash, remove stem and cut into sections.
Scrape out seeds.
Steam intil soft.
Scrape out pulp from skin.
Put through sieve food processor.
We use our blender.
Add 1 part sugar for 6 parts pumpkin if desired.
Cool.
Pack pumpkin into plastic freezer bags or plastic freezer boxes.
Seal, Label and freeze.
