Add the Sugar As soon as you achieve a full rolling boil add the entire amount of sugar. Stir in the sugar well and continue with the high heat and constant stirring. You need to bring the mixture again to a full rolling boil. Paul gets this job but gives his watch with a second hand to Bernice. When he gets a full rolling boil he tells Bernice and she checks the second hand on the watch and lets Paul know when a full 60 seconds have elapsed. He is constantly stirring. At the end of the 60 seconds we take the pot off of the stove and place it on a already placed hot pad.
