Step 15, Heat and Fill the Jars

After soup has come to a boil make sure jars are hot. Put them upside down on water and bring the water to a boil. Fill jars leaving a one inch headspace. Wipe rims with a clean damp cloth and apply two-piece lids. Tighten tight but not with all your strength.
