Beet Work Station

The shows our work station to work on the beets. Because the beets tend to stain everything we put down plastic tarps to cover the table. The bowl of cooled beets sits to Bernice left (she is right handed). The tray to work in sits in front of her. In front of the tray is a small bowl of cold water to clean her knife. Also a plastic pail is there to put the end and skins in when they get too many in the tray. A bowl to her right is for the beets as she finishes working on them. In front of the finished beets is our cutting board and a bowl to put in the diced or sliced beets. After taking the photo Paul will then assist with these jobs. Bernice gets in all the pictures but we both do the work.
