Ball Blue Book of Preserving
Both Ball and Kerr have licensed Allrista to continue their "Home Canning" line of goods. Pictured on the left is my old 2003 Blue Book and after I broke down and bought a new copy on the right is the one they now produce for 2009.
We don't always follow their recipes to the letter. But their book is the best on the market. The Ball Blue Book has been published since 1909. For some states, California, their home canning experts have different times than others. We don't claim to be experts; we are just trying to help.
