Store Finished Jars

After marking them we store them in our lower floor pantry. We bought these heavy duty shelves from a drugstore that went out of business. The enemy of canned goods are heat and light. Canned goods (in jars) are best stored in cool and dark places. Our pantry is under ground on that side of the house and has no windows. Store yours in the coolest and darkest place you have. The jars are stored with the rings off.
