Fill Jar with Prunes - 9

We had halved enough prunes for a batch in our steamer and we begin to fill the jars with our prunes. Paul takes one of the hot jars out for Bernice to fill. Put the prunes with the skin side up. Bernice uses a table knife to slide the prune halves to the bottom. Fill the jar to a half inch headspace. When filled Paul will tap the bottom of the jar on the heel of his palm the pack the prunes a little. We might add a prune after that if needed.
