Wire Basket for Dipping Tomatoes in Hot Water, Tool 1

We use this wire basket to dip the tomatoes in the hot water to help the slipping off the skins. I use a watch with a second hand to time the stay in the hot water. I do a few tomatoes first and have Bernice test to see if the skins slip off easily. If you have them in the water too long they will over cook and be quite ragged. If you have them in the water too short a time it will make the skins hard to slip. I adjust the time according to Bernice's needs.
