Chinese Cooking Tools Cooking Pot Many dishes require some boiling such as noodles, and some vegetable dishes. Many of the vegetable dishes would use a wok to stir fry. Jiaozi (Jow za) however would be cooked in boiling water. Sometimes in this country Chinese restaurants refer to jiaozi as pot stickers or dumplings. Any decent pot will work.
