2. Boil Potatoes

We put the potatoes in a large pot covered with water with the heat set on high. When it begins to boil we lower the heat to medium and cover the pot. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. We test them using a toothpick to see if you can poke it through the potato easily. When done drain the water.
